Wider Front Wings and Wheels 2021

With the engine build to more and more power a better rear wheel grip was wanted. In 2011 I decided to make the rear end wider with 4” (10 cm) to fit wider wheels for better grip. Before the wheels was 185/65 R15 tires on 72 spokes 5×15”. The rear end was enlarged to fit 6×15” with 215/60 R15 tires. The front wings are much more complicated to extend. I waited with that, now 10 years later 😊 Then in 2021 I decided to enlarge the Front Wings to match the rear end and buy new chrome wire wheels at 6×15” 70 spokes from MWS and buy 5 new Pirelli P6000 215/60 R15 tires.

4 tools were made to bend the 1.3mm steel to follow the curvatures. One tool was made to match the wing edge. It was quite complicated and took all together 3 months before the car was back on the wheels again.
